Summer Traveling Playhouse
This was a huge hit. We'll be going to these shows as often as we can make them!!!
Actors, puppets and interactive play are all a part of the summer playhouse entertainment.
The Theme this week was all about the 3 R's. Recycle, Reuse and Reduce!
They performed the story of the Lorax and explained how to take care of our Earth in a really cute and fun way! The kids giggled and were very engaged!
Even our 6 mo. old enjoyed watching!!
Next skit was about Curious George helping clean
up garbage and he had to figure out which of the 3 R's to do!
They LOVED Curious George!

Baby Cardinal nest we spotted in the back yard!
3 baby cardinals were found hiding out in my rose bush. We've been making sure they are kept safe by carefully looking in on them from a distance. I have used a pretty good zoom on my camera in these photos as to not disturb the babies or make the mommy and daddy mad. The children LOVE bird watching.
Open up for a bite little babies!

More Q week...
Finishing up our Q week with these fun Q work books I put together for the children!
They always like working and feeling important so what better way then to make a little
special DOCUMENTS/WORK BOOK for them!
Books are made based on child's skills and age!
I will be making a booklet for each letter of the alphabet for the children to either work on
in Daycare or to take home! However, we will be doing most of the work in daycare!
Each child can decorate the front of their booklet.
There will be a letter writing practice sheet in each packet.
There will be a letter review in each packet.
My daughter LOVES mazes so this was a fun insert so they can learn some thinking skills/problem solving.
This worksheet really doesn't relate to Q, but it was a fun insert to get ready for Spring. They are to draw a picture of themselves doing something in spring.
This is our Quilt page. I will have the children cut out little squares and paste them onto the letter to make a quilt like pattern.
