Welcome to The Little Monarch's Day Care Site

I have fulfilled my dream of opening up my own home day care on November 16th, 2012. My name is Rachael Hundley, I am 38, married (8 years) and a mother of a sweet and friendly 5 1/2 year old daughter and a precious 5 month old baby girl. I have been working with children for over 20 years and have been a professional nanny for over 10 of those years. I knew at a young age that caring for children was a joy of mine and that I would most likely pursue a career focused around children. I have always been very motherly, nurturing, caring, patient, playful, trustworthy, dependable and understanding and I truly enjoy children. My goal for opening an in home day care is being able to provide your children with a safe environment, attention and fun. I have now been a provider for nearly a year and so far it's been a great and exciting adventure!

Here at The Little Monarch's Day Care, we will be learning and playing and developing! Little Monarchs will be a limited TV free zone. We will from time to time watch an occasional learning program such as Leap or the children will get to choose a video to watch when good behavior is met. We will be so busy playing, reading, learning and socializing that we won't miss it!

I have designated the main level of my home for daycare with many educational, safe, and fun toys for boys and girls of all ages. We will have a scheduled quiet/nap time each day also in the "Cot Room". We will have nutritious home made meals. I will serve breakfast, lunch and snacks. I have a pet free smoke free home, but, may acquire a pet in the future.

We will have outside time (weather permitting), my yard is fenced in! We have ride on toys, swings, a sandbox, and fun yard activities. We will have walking field trips to local parks, and have field trips to area activities and events. I will care for your children as I would want my children cared for.

I am a Licensed Provider, CPR and First aid certified as well as trained in SIDS and Shaken Baby.

As of 1/24/2014,  I have preschool age openings.

School Pictures

So, Who is tired of paying for school pictures that
look goofy and fake and boring?
 ME!!!
I decided not to pay for pictures anymore
with the exception of the class photo.I want to try something new.
Here is a look into the future. I found this awesome idea on Pinterest.

etched right onto the photo, but, you will also catch the
essence of who your child is by capturing their most
natural smile and character!

As a litte Free Perk, I like to take photography on the side and your child, with your permission, will have his/her own portrait each birthday. Not to mention, random photo shoots when the mood is right!

Room Changes once again!

I am gearing my room more towards the toddler age. So, I bought this super fun climbing apparatus. It's been Toddler tested and Toddler approved! :) 

I will also be purchasing a nice soft rug to put around that area. I am always sitting close enough to catch any falls, so rest assure, I will not allow any injuries.
